2026 AFTA Hardship Grant for Retail Members

After listening to feedback from our members, the AFTA Board has decided to release a limited number of additional Hardship Grant applications for one week only.

We know many small, independent fishing tackle retailers are continuing to feel the pressure of rising costs, travel expenses and the ongoing challenges of doing business. The Hardship Grant Program has been designed to help eligible AFTA Member retailers attend the AFTA Tackle Show in Brisbane and stay connected with the industry at a time when that support matters most.

Applications will reopen for a strictly limited period and will close on Wednesday 12 August, or earlier if all available grants are allocated before then.

Grant funds are limited and applications will be assessed and allocated in order of receipt, so eligible retailers are strongly encouraged to act fast.

If you are an eligible AFTA Member retailer with a physical store and require support to attend the AFTA Tackle Show, this is your opportunity to apply before the window closes.

How to apply: Click the link below, complete the application form and submit it as soon as possible.

Applications close Wednesday 12 August, or once all grants have been allocated.

Don’t wait. Places are limited, and once the available grants are gone, the application form will close.
