AFTA is excited to let you know that exhibitor space sales for the 2026 AFTA Tackle Show (20-22 August) will officially open to new and previous Tackle Show exhibitors from midday on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, via the AFTA website. Wholesalers can also expect to receive an EDM with this information on this day.
The 2026 show marks a major milestone for the industry, with the event moving to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC). This new venue delivers a significantly larger footprint, allowing the AFTA Tackle Show to grow alongside the Australian recreational fishing and tackle trade. The move reflects strong industry demand for participation and sets the stage for the biggest and most dynamic show in the event’s history.
All exhibitors – returning and new – must submit a completed space application form to secure their stand. Please note that space cannot be held or reserved via phone calls or emails. A completed application is the only way to lock away your stand and demand is expected to be high.
The AFTA Tackle Show remains the premier B2B trade event for the Australian fishing industry and is the only trade event run by the industry for the industry. This event provides unparalleled opportunities to connect with retailers, showcase new products, strengthen relationships and set the tone for the season ahead.
