Season 11 of Australia’s richest fishing competition has come to an end!
Let’s take a trip down memory lane and celebrate one of the biggest seasons yet – here’s what we’ve reeled in this season:
- 18 x $10,000 barra caught – making it the second-highest season on record (Season 8 still holds the top spot with 20).
- $220,000 in prize money paid out to lucky fishos.
- Our charity partner Surf Life Saving Northern Territory have received $22,000 in donations tied to each catch.
- One of the largest barra in Million Dollar Fish history landed this season, measuring a huge 99cm.
- The Reel of Fortune was introduced, delivering new monthly surprises and exclusive bonuses.
- The Size Matters incentive in March offered the biggest prize in Million Dollar Fish history (outside the million) – a chance to land $100,000 for the biggest barra caught that month.
- Female fishos dominated the Reel of Fortune incentives – Chloe Frost scored $40,000 in December for winning “Size Matters”, and Loren Hanton landed $20,000 in November for winning “Weekend Fisho”.
- Simply by registering, we’ve given away over $47,000 in Monthly Prize Giveaways to 30 winners.
