The “National Recreational Fishing Survey”, is a survey designed specifically for recreational fishers. Please share with your fishing community; as some great prizes have now been supplied.
The impact the bushfires on Australian coastal and regional communities has been substantial, particularly on local recreational fishing and tourism spots and as such its flow-on effect of people potentially participating in the online survey. FRDC will now have weekly, monthly and a grand prize.
The weekly prizes will be fishing tackle packs (provided by AFTA Members) for the period February to mid-May (15 weeks). For the monthly prize FRDC would like to give back to fire affected communities with holiday accommodation packages in those affected areas to boost recovery.
For the Grand Prize FRDC are looking at a live aboard fishing trip with Steve and Jo Starling.
