Prysm Manufacturing – Plano Tackle Boxes
Plano have been manufacturing their entry level Single, Double & Triple tray tackle boxes in Dandenong, Australia since 1996.
Originally at FMP Manufacturing that began in 1965, which Paul Murphy purchased in 2000, the business then evolved to become Prysm Manufacturing in 2008.
Prysm Manufacturing, an Australian company 55 years young has grown to 45 employees with greater than 50% having 10 years and some having 20 years’ service to the company.
The Plano Tackle Box represents 25 % of the facilities production capacity with Prysm not only moulding the variety of coloured boxes in specialised tooling and machinery, but in the final product assembly and packaging with the basic fishing kits ready for distribution.
