We invite AFTA members to attend the meeting and enjoy Happy Hour as well as the opportunity to ask questions in an open forum with the Board. There will be Board positions up for nomination this year. The details will be communicated to members in the coming months.

To have an application for space at the 2025 Tackle Show considered, an exhibitor must:
• Be an Australian based company with a registered ABN.
• Be registered for GST in Australia.
• Be the authorised distributor for the brands/products in Australia.
• Operate from a business premises suitable to the product being distributed.

2025 SHOW BUYER REGISTRATION
The AFTA Tackle Show is back in 2025, giving wholesalers and retailers the chance to connect outside of the shop environment. In two fabulous days on the Gold Coast, you can meet representatives of your suppliers, both old and new. You can also check out all the latest products, including perhaps some you have forgotten about. All the brands are under one roof in one easily accessible location.
The Gala Dinner and Awards function will be held on Friday, July 25. This event will allow the trade to come together in an even more relaxed setting. It’s sure to be a great night!
Saturday, July 26, will see the doors to the public.

BRANDS ON DISPLAY AT THE 2025 SHOW
The recreational fishing industry enjoyed another great show in 2024. The need for floor space was in high demand this year, with the show selling out months in advance.
The tackle show calendar offered plenty of networking opportunities. The show itself, AFTA’s AGM, Happy Hour, and the Gala Dinner & Awards Night were the biggest that AFTA has ever seen, with 475 people attending for four hours of drinks and socialising. The support from the Victorian Government and Brandscope for the dinner was fantastic.
The incredible sponsorship from the Queensland Government enabled AFTA to offer free entry to all members of the public. Before we opened, the lines were out the door and around the building.
There’s already plenty of talk for the 2025 show; if you missed it in 2024, start planning now to ensure you don’t do that again!
