The structure of AFTA is an elected Management Committee (Board) as per the AFTA Constitution (Part 3, Clause 14)
The total number of Committee Members (Directors) is to be no more than 9 and no less than 3 and must be made up of:
(a)  no more than 5 and no less than 3 Wholesale Members;
(b)  no more than 3 and no less than 1 Retail Member; and
(c)  no more than 1 Media Member
Committee Members (Directors) are elected at the AGM for a term of 3 years with no restriction on how many consecutive terms can be served.

There are five positions open for nomination in 2025: 1 x RETAIL and 4 x WHOLESALE. If you wish to nominate yourself for a position on the Board, please fill out and return the form below as soon as possible.

AFTA Members considering nomination should familiarise themselves with the AFTA Constitution, which can be found on the Member Portal on the AFTA website. Members should also ensure they are available to travel for a minimum of two in-person meetings per year, typically in September and March, and participate in various e-meetings throughout the year.

If you have any queries, you are welcome to contact any AFTA Board Member, including our Independent Chairman, The Hon Bob Baldwin.

Nominations to be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. AEST on Tuesday, 8th July 2025.
