The Qld Government wants the recreational fishing industry to have a say in our sectors future.
The Queensland Governmetn & Industry have developed Primary Industries Prosper 2050, solidifying a bold and unified vision to grow and safeguard the future of Queensland’s primary industries.
They are co-designing a range of Queensland fishing and seafood actions under Prosper 2050 and are currently engaging across the state with all our stakeholders, including:
- Recreational fishers and supply chain
- Queensland seafood industry and supply chain
- Fishing charter sector
- Service providers and retailers
- Local government and regional bodies including NRM groups and economic development agencies
- Education and research institutes
- Industry bodies
- Tourism sector.
