As you may be aware, this year, a new NT Recreational Fishing Development Plan (2023 -2033) will replace the previous 10-year plan. The new draft plan is based on input from hundreds of recreational fishers and the members of the recreational fishing sector gathered during 2022 through interviews, workshops and forums.
The Consultation Draft (new plan) has been developed using fresh ideas and a new approach and is designed to ensure the Territory’s recreational fishing sector is prepared to successfully navigate changes, challenges and opportunities to deliver a bright recreational fishing future.
The NT Government and the NT Recreational Fishing Advisory Committee (RFAC) have been seeking feedback and as we prepare our own submission, AFANT is asking you to take 5 minutes to complete the survey and help shape your fishing future.
